WhyItIsTerrible:Critical point-of-view
WhyItIsTerrible is written in a critical point of view. In contrast to Wikipedia, which attempts a neutral point of view, and Wikinfo, which attempts a sympathetic point of view, WhyItIsTerrible takes an unabashedly negative tone.
Why negative?
- It is easy to find positive information about companies, products, organizations and ideas. Advertising is ubiquitous, and is often misleading or just plain false. WhyItIsTerrible will make it just as easy to find negative information.
Isn't that cynical/pessimistic/rude?
- No. WhyItIsTerrible does not purport to be a primary source of information. It is the answer to the question Why shouldn't I do this? We do not advocate not ever doing anything; we do advocate considering the risks and consequences of every decision, and not just the possible benefits and rewards.
[edit] Critical point of view

- It must be focused. We should not explain anything not directly related to explaining why the subject is terrible.
